General Conditions

Tangocamp 2010 has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience. No registration is possible any more.

Registration, Payment and Cancellation Policies:

  • The registration, changes of registration and cancellations are valid only when confirmed in writing by the organisers.
  • The spot at the camp will be reserved for you if at least 50% of the total amount due is paid within 8 days of submitting the registration form. The registration becomes final and valid with the final transfer of the remaining amount due which should occur at the latest by 30 June 2010. For all registrations taking place after 30 June 2010, the full amount is due within 8 days of submitting in the registration form.
  • There is an early-bird discount on the total amount due for all applications and payments that occur before or on 15 May 2010. The early bird discount means that the full camp package is reduced to 465 euro.
  • The payments can be done in cash, via bank transfers to a SEPA account or via Western Union. Payment options will be detailed in the confirmation mail following the receipt of the online registration form.
  • Cancellation Policy: You are free to cancel your registration at any time. However, the following cancellation fees apply, if you decide to cancel:
    • Before 15 June 2010: 20 euro fixed fee
    • Before 30 June 2010: 25% of the total amount due
    • Before 15 July 2010: 50% of the total amount due
    • After 16 July 2010: 80% of the total amount due
    • If you find a suitable replacement, only the 20 euro administration fee applies (regardless of the time of cancellation).
    • We leave it up to each participant to arrange a separate travel cancellation insurance, if deemed necessary.
  • The organisers reserve the right to adjust or cancel the summer camp in case of insufficient number of applicants or exceptional circumstances. The final decision will be taken by 30 June 2010. The paid-in application fees will be returned in full in due time. Other costs incurred by the participants (such as train or flight tickets) will not be covered by the organisers.
  • The organisers reserve the right to ask a participant to leave the premises of the camp in case of gross misconduct on the part of the participant. In such a case, no fee shall be returned to such a participant.

Courses and workshops

  • To ensure a balanced composition of leaders and followers, we encourage registration in couples (especially for the Full Camp Package). If applying as a single applicant for the Full Camp Package, you will be placed on a waiting list until a suitable dance partner is found for you. Application for the Long Weekend Package is open to all.
  • The assignment to the appropriate level of class will take place before the beginning of the first course on Sunday, 8 August 2010.
  • In case of exceptional circumstances which may cause one or more teacher couples cancel their participation, we will search for adequate replacement.

  • Accommodation at the main location (Mladinski dom Smolnik, Ruse) will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis (in the order of registration). The full camp participants will have priority. If your preferences cannot be met by the camp organisers, you are free to arrange for the off-site accommodation at your own cost. The organisers will provide you with the list of accommodation options in the region.
  • The main location is a smoke-free environment.

Insurance and responsibility claims

  • Every participant is encouraged to have a valid health and/or travel insurance arranged.
  • No responsibility will be taken over by the organisers neither for personal injuries nor for damaged, lost or stolen property.
